Major Events Ahead ... Tables/seats are now available (for Riverbend members ONLY) for the Ormond Passion Play Dinner Theater scheduled on April 22 (Thursday) and April 23 (Friday). This is a solid opportunity for Riverbenders to invite family and friends for a great meal and then the clear presentation of the gospel through the musical drama called The Promise. Eight-seat tables are $200 each; individual seats are $30 each. Tickets are now available in the church office during regular office hours (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday). Luke and Lynn Davis have begun an extended stay in Honduras as part of Riverbend’s new Above & Beyond missions emphasis there. Please pray for God’s guidance and direction as they seek to help establish a church at El Costano. Several mission trips to assist them are being planned for Riverbenders during 2010. March 15 is the deadline for purchasing ad space in Riverbend's printed programs for the Ormond Passion Play (late April and early May) and Celebrate America! (early July). Call Marcia Delaney for details (672-1821). Adults 55-up should plan to attend the Saturday Movie Matinee on March 13 at 2 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The movie: No Greater Love (about problems involved in reconciling a wrecked marriage). Admission is free, but tickets are required. They are available in the Bookcart lobby at the church on Feb. 28, March 3, March 7 and March 10. All Riverbend males are reminded about the Men's Breakfast on March 11 (Thursday) at 6 a.m. Costs: $3 men, $2 boys. The next Men's Shepherding Group meeting is planned Thursday, March 11, at 6:30 p.m. Abundant Blessings will host a Free Clothing Give-Away on Saturday, March 27, at 8 a.m.-noon in the Youth Center. The first hour is reserved for Riverbend members only. Riverbend's Sunday morning worship services are now broadcast LIVE by Cornerstone radio (WJLU and WJLH). The broadcasts begin at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday and are carried on these FM frequencies: 89.7 and 90.3, Greater Daytona Beach & Flagler Beach/Palm Coast ... 97.3, DeLand ... 102.7,Deltona & DeBary. Riverbend’s Sunday and Wednesday worship services may now be seen “live” on the internet through video “streaming.” GraceWorx Ministries is providing this service through www.GraceWorx.com. So if you cannot be at a service in person, you can be there via computer. Don’t forget about Riverbend’s “Concert of Prayer” scheduled Thursday, March 25, at 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
