You may e-mail encouraging notes to them by clicking here. Keep up with their work in Honduras by frequently visiting their blog site. Click here.

Haiti
Relief
More requests for specific supplies have prompted Riverbend's Disaster Relief ministry to get involved in relief efforts. Receptacles are located at both entrances to the church to collect items you want to donate.
New needs are tents (all sizes), tarps (all sizes), shoes and flip-flops (new--fastened together), first-aid kits, antibiotics and blankets. There is a continuing need for snack-type food (Granola bars), peanut butter, towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, flashlights and batteries.
Those supplies are being packaged at the church on Feb. 15 and will be sent immediately thereafter to Haiti by MFI, which flies into Haiti at least twice a week. Everything given through the church is given only to missionaries on the ground for distribution to the Haitian people.
If you prefer, you may write a check to Riverbend/Haiti Relief Fund. Then the church's Disaster Relief ministry will purchase items to send.
Riverbend's first wave of relief, given by church members, included 31 boxes weighing over 1,200 pounds. Some $3,300 was also given for the purchase of supplies that were delivered on Feb. 1.
