All About RBI ...
Riverbend Bible Institute, originally know as Riverbend University, was established in 2000.
Dr. R.A. Hargrave, senior pastor, sought a way to instruct Riverbenders, as well as friends of the church, in the doctine and disciplines necessary to live a dynamic Christian life.
Courses were devised, starting with The Doctrines of Grace, and a training semester was established.
Today, 90-minute classes are taught each fall at Riverbend over an 11-week semester. Courses are taught primarily by the pastoral staff.
RBI students earn credits toward degrees given by the church. Through mid-2008, thirty-two Riverbenders have earned the Disciple's Degree.
